Some people say that a person's fate is pre destined. That nothing they do in life is by accident and everything that you do has been decided by a higher power. If that were so than why would this being of higher intelligence waste his time on some that he planned out. He already knows how it going to turnout so why even blow centuries of time watching this boring play. I don't know about you but I someone tells me the ending to the movie then why waste time waiting for what you already know is going to happen. Another popular opinion is that a persons will is stronger than that of any barrier put in his way. That this thing called fate is only an obstacle that can be over passed just by the implement of a person's mind. This breed of people believes that nothing can control all events and that the mind can resist all temptations if properly trained. I myself have different theory. That yes there is a higher power that puts fate into play. He sits there and watches how his cine will play out. People can organize their own businesses and receive their own profits if it succeeds, or debts if it fails. In this system, the harder a person works, the more money they receive, allowing them to make ends meet. The downside to democracy is that people can get a high paying job through education, but may work just as hard at a lower paying job and receive less money. As Winston Churchill once said, "The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries." Generally, Democracys seem be more successful economically. In a democracy, money is the most dominant incentive. On the contrary, in a communist government, a person can work a million times harder than the person sitting next to him, and receive equal pay. While Sapphire makes it evident that Precious feels discomfort whenever she is near men, she also states that Precious feels a sense of belonging when she is surrounded by other women, with the exception of her mother.In the novel The Color Purple, Collie's fear and hatred towards men is very noticeable . Her father's abuse towards her scars her for life and deeply affects the way she views men. Chug remains married to Mr†¦ Grady in spite of Collie's concerns, which only cause Celli to become more Jealous.Her issues with men are made more and more apparent throughout the novel, and that is the most important reason as to why she feels such a special bond with other females, such as Nineties, Chug Avery, and Sofia. Sofia is Collie's stepson's wife, and unlike Cell, Sofia is brave and able to stand up to her husband. The relationship that she has with Sofia is what empowers her, and her bond with these three girls is what confirms her actions of a man, whether it is her father of her h usband, and with so much activity in her life, these three women become the only people to truly help her.In both Push and The Color Purple, there are countless similarities shared between not only Precious and Cell, but between the two fathers, Carl and Alphorns, as well as the two most important women in Precious and Collie's lives, Ms. Blue and Chug Avery.
